Excellence in Graduate Research Symposium (E.G.R.S.)

The GSS in partnership with the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) and Vice-President Academic and Provost (VPAC) is hosting a Graduate Student Research Day on October 25th as part of Graduate Student Appreciation Week (see below).

This interdisciplinary event will allow graduate students to present their work at the University level. Posters, presentations, and virtual presentations will be accepted, with the assumption that presentations will be reserved for students in disciplines that do not translate well to posters, and virtual presentations are prioritised for distance students.

This event will have two presentation sessions (9:30am – 11:40am, and 1:30pm – 3:40pm), a panel on effective supervision (4pm – 5pm), an awards session, and will culminate in a post-symposium Faculty Tasting Night.

Should you need a poster to be printed to participate, or should you have A/V requirements, the GSS and our supporters FGS and VPAC will pay for the costs. There is no cost for registration.
